As the Arizona Cardinals prepare to head east to take on the New York Giants on Sunday, the Cardinals injury report for Friday was released and it included information about the playing status of those on the list.

Out:

DT Frostee Rucker, LB Alex Okafor

Questionable:

RB Andre Ellington, QB Carson Palmer, P Dave Zastudil

Probable:

S Tyrann Mathieu, S Rashad Johnson, G Paul Fanaika

The surprise here is Mathieu is probable, meaning is likely to see some playing time on Sunday.  That is the best news on the injury front by far, although even though Ellington and Palmer are questionable it appears both are going to play.  Rucker left Monday’s game and has been out all week, so that was no surprise.

No word on if Zastudil will be able to give it a go or not on Sunday, at least from a punting standpoint.  He was active on Monday night in order to be the holder for kicker Chandler Catanzaro.  Drew Butler took care of the punting duties on Monday night but he did have one punt blocked
