Update #2: Arizona Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer Arrest Confirmed

The CBS Evening News has now confirmed that Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer has been arrested by Phoenix Police for domestic abuse.  The charges are aggravated assault and preventing someone from calling 911.

Wow.  Right now I have a struggle for words.  With all that has gone on so far with Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy, Ray Rice.  You have an outstanding issue with Ray McDonald from the San Francisco 49ers.  Enough.  These guys are coming in now one after another.

So now, it is time for the Arizona Cardinals to act.  I don’t know what that action will be.  I know what I would like it to be but it isn’t up to me.  I know what the charges are and I know who it involves.  At the very least the Cards need to remove Dwyer from football activities.  There is no excuse for anyone, football player or not, to hit a woman, a child, or commit assault against any other human being.
