The Arizona Cardinals have signed defensive tackle Bruce Gaston off of the Miami Dolphins Practice Squad and released running back Jalen Parmele.  Gaston had been with the Cardinals in training camp but was cut the last week of August.

With the signing of running back Marion Grice on Tuesday, it was pretty evident the Cards would make another move at the position given it left the team with five running backs.  Parmele, who was signed last week after the running back Jonathan Dwyer was deactivated, ran the ball just once in the 23-14 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Some people thought Gaston might make the team based on his performance in the preseason but ultimately was cut and then was subsequently picked up by the New England Patriots before the Cards could add him to their practice squad.  He was with the Patriots only a couple of days and then the Dolphins added him to their practice squad.
