Earlier today Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians indicated that quarterback Carson Palmer’s shoulder was “better” but that he still had not thrown in practice yet.  The team practiced on Monday and was off on Tuesday.  Arians met with the media prior to practice today but Palmer was not scheduled to throw.

According to Ed Werder of ESPN, Palmer was scheduled to get a second opinion on his shoulder, as it has not gained the necessary strength to throw the football.  He said as it appears right now, Palmer will not play this Sunday against the Denver Broncos.  If Palmer can not go, Drew Stanton will get his third straight start.

Right now it is all a guessing game though.  Nothing official from the Cards has come down about Palmer’s game status one way or another.  Arians has already met with the media today, so we may not hear more on his status until Thursday.
