The Arizona Cardinals host the Washington Redskins Sunday afternoon in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium.  This will be the first regular-season visit for the Redskins to UOP since the Cards moved into the stadium in 2006.  They have had one preseason visit in 2010.  The Redskins have not been to Arizona in the regular season since 2005.  The last time these two teams met was in 2011.  The Skins won 22-21.

The biggest question entering the week for the Cardinals is their quarterback situation.  They probably have Drew Stanton back after he passed his concussion protocol on Friday afternoon.  A few hours earlier head coach Bruce Arians had declared for the first time in 20 years he did not know who would be his starting quarterback.  Carson Palmer went to Denver for another treatment on his shoulder on Friday afternoon.

Out for the Cardinals will be tight end Troy Niklas, defensive end Calais Campbell, and linebacker Glenn Carson.  None of them practiced at all this week.  Linebacker Alex Okafor does return though.

For the Redskins, their biggest injury question was on tight end Jordan Reed but he is expected to go.  They are coming off a 27-17 loss at home on Monday night to the Seattle Seahawks.  The Cards lost on Sunday to the Denver Broncos 41-20.

A lot of what happens on Sunday will have to do with who is the quarterback for the Cards.  As of right now, it could be Stanton.  I could be Palmer.  It also still could be rookie Logan Thomas.  I would not be surprised if all three were active on Sunday.  Either way, against the Skins it may not matter.  Cardinals 19 Redskins 17
