Arizona Cardinals Injury Report Long But Not Worrisome

The list of players on the Arizona Cardinals Wednesday injury report looked more like the actual roster but it was really just full of guys nursing their injuries and not trying to aggravate them by practicing a lot.

Those who did not practice on Wednesday: DE Calais Campbell, TE Troy Niklas, TE John Carlson, DE Frostee Rucker

Limited: QB Carson Palmer, RB Andre Ellington, LB Alex Okafor, CB Patrick Peterson, WR Michael Floyd, LB Glenn Carson

That is a pretty lengthy list of those that were limited on Wednesday.  Floyd is nursing a groin injury.  Carlson is dealing with an injury that we didn’t know much about before today.  Okafor is still working on his quad but he should be ready for Sunday.

Ellington as I’ve stated several times will find himself limited a lot this season in dealing with that foot injury of his.  As for Palmer, he is at about 85 percent on his shoulder right now but he also should be fine for Sunday.  He’s just trying to re-gain all of his strength and not over-do it.  Rucker was injured in the 30-20 victory over the Washington Redskins on Sunday but he returned to action later.
