The Arizona Cardinals were able to stop the Philadelphia Eagles on their first drive but the second drive of the first quarter was a much different story.  After failing to take advantage of Eagles penalties, the Cards could not score on their first drive either.  The Eagles lead the Cards 7-0 after the first quarter.

On the Cards first drive, the Eagles kept the Cards driving with multiple penalties.  It almost appeared as if they were trying for some sort of NFL record.  They got into field goal range but fell out of it quickly.  They did take a shot into the end zone with receiver Michael Floyd but he was unable to bring the ball down for the catch.

The Eagles methodically moved the ball down the field on their second drive and eventually scored on a 21-yard pass from quarterback Nick FOles to receiver Jeremy Maclin.  The Cards appeared a little tired a the end of the drive.

The Cards on their second drive, which is still in play right now has started much better.  Quarterback Carson Palmer completed a 30-yard pass to Larry Fitzgerald.
