NFL Experience opens today in Downtown Phoenix

The event runs today through February 1st, the day of Super Bowl XLIX, in Phoenix
If you live in Phoenix or are visiting Phoenix anytime from today until next weekend and you are a football fan, the NFL Experience is something you must attend. It is a little pricey if you have a family but it is still a great time.

The event this year will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Downtown Phoenix. The last time the Super Bowl was here in 2008 the NFL Experience was held adjacent to University of Phoenix Stadium. The hours for the event today are 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and will run 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday. During the week, doors open at 3 p.m. Doors will close at 10 p.m. each day except for Sunday February 1st when doors close at 2 p.m. before the start of Super Bowl XLIX.
Back to the cost of the event, you can save some money buying a ticket package if you have more than one child. If you’re like me, have a wife and just one child, sorry, no savings. Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children.
I went to the NFL Experience the last time it was here and it was a blast. I put on my Arizona Cardinals jersey and wore it proudly to the event. If you’ve never been to one, it is an interactive theme park all about the game. There are areas to go where you can try your hand at kicking, punting, throwing, and receiving the ball.
There will be an area where football personalities of the past and present will have talks and clinics. There will also be free autograph sessions for a number of NFL players. Of course you also can’t forget the shopping. You can find all of your Super Bowl and NFL gear in their shop. It was hard not to go nuts in there last time.

I’m not sure if I will be able to make it out or not but if you have the time, the money, and also bring your patience as the crowds will grow, then I suggest this outing for you and your friends or family. This event doesn’t come around everyday and not every city gets to experience it. If you do go, show your Arizona Cardinals gear off and have a great time!
