The Arizona Cardinals game-by-game predictions for weeks 10-13 of the 2016 NFL season

So far the prediction for the Arizona Cardinals in the first half of the season is a 7-1 record.  That puts them in position to meet the goals they are setting out to accomplish.  This year the goal is not just getting to the Super Bowl but winning it.

The second half of the season will actually start out on week 10 for the Cardinals.  They have a bye week in week 9 of the 2016 NFL season.  With as difficult a stretch as that was, especially in the last four games leading up to the bye, it comes at a great time.

The second half of the season starts out at home but five of their last eight games will be on the road.  Here are predictions for weeks 10-13.  They will face the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, and Washington Redskins.

Week 10: San Francisco 49ers 2:25 p.m. FOX

The second meeting of the season between these two divisional rivals.  With the Cardinals winning the first matchup in a close one on national television on Thursday Night Football, the Cardinals will have a good sense of who the 49ers are and what they are all about in 2016.

Last season the 49ers didn’t play so well in Arizona.  In fact the Cardinals have defeated the 49ers handily each of the last two seasons in Arizona 23-14 in 2014 and 47-7 last season.

The good news: It’s a home game for the Cardinals after their first loss of the season in Carolina.  It is also coming off the bye week.  Those situations combined make this a really tough game for the 49ers.

The bad news: Hard to find any bad news situations here.  The only thing that could stop the Cardinals here is their health.  If they are healthy, they should be good and ready to play this one.
