The Arizona Cardinals must wait for awhile but the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft is less than one hour away

It’s just after 4 p.m. and the Arizona Cardinals still have a pick at number 29 of the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.  They haven’t traded it away yet folks.

I am still standing by my prediction they will eventually make the pick.  There will be a lot of good players to choose from still at 29.

Let’s hope the Cardinals have more success tonight with their first round pick than they did with the five players ABC 15 mentioned in their piece.  If they trade the pick away, it is likely still more productive than those five busts.

Nkemdiche is a player we profiled earlier in the off-season leading up to the draft as a possibility.  I like him but still not convinced the Cardinals will draft high for the defensive line.  If he’s the best player left on the board though, the Cardinals will grab him.

McShay certainly still believes in the defensive line for the Cardinals.  Then again, it’s Todd McShay.  If they don’t make a move up to get Ryan Kelly from Alabama and there is a top corner like Mackensie Alexander from Clemson still around, I have to believe he is their man.  We’ll see.
