The Arizona Cardinals most expensive resale ticket is against the New England Patriots

This should come as no shock to anyone but the Arizona Cardinals home opener against the New England Patriots is easily the most expensive ticket on the third-party resale market for all 2016 home games.  This all despite the uncertain status of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady of course has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season for his part in deflategate.  He is appealing the decision, again.

Clearly it does not matter to fans that the Patriots may not have the games top quarterback available for the NBC Sunday Night Football opener at University of Phoenix Stadium.  Afterall, it is still the Patriots.  It is also a homecoming of sorts for former University of Arizona and current Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Looking at the third party vendors, the lowest ticket price is the highest for any of the eight home regular season games for the Cardinals.  On StubHub.com the lowest price right now is $133 for upper deck.  At VividSeats.com, the cheapest is $137.  BigStub.com has $140 as the cheapest ticket.

Now look at contrast, the lowest appears to be the very next week on September 18th against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  The cheapest on StubHub is $33.  On VividSeats the cheapest is currently $27 and BigStub is $32.

Competition is everything.  Tickets will always sell for the Cardinals no matter the price but if you are looking to get out to a game and don’t want to wait for single game tickets to go on sale on Ticketmaster sometime in July, The Bucs game may be the way to go if you are looking to get more bang for your buck.  The game against the Los Angeles Rams on October 2nd is a close second right behind the Bucs in cheapest ticket prices.

If you do go to the third party sites, as always please pay attention to what you are clicking on. There are separate links for parking passes to each of those games.  I’ve never used Vivid or BigStub so I can’t speak to their reputability but have never had issues with StubHub.
