The Arizona Cardinals were taking a close look at the wide receivers and quarterbacks today

The Arizona Cardinals were probably paying close attention on day two of the NFL Combine. Two of their biggest needs are at quarterback and wide receiver, and those were the guys working out today in Indianapolis.

The Cardinals have the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, and should get an elite talent at that point. There are a lot of good players in this year’s class, and in an off-season with so much potential roster turnover, the team needs to find an impact guy.

Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald have both decided to return to the Cardinals for next season, but it could be their final seasons. There isn’t a ready-made answer at either spot already on the roster, so it’s imperative that they start to get ready for life after they’re gone.

The quarterbacks and wide receivers were on the field, showing what they could do today, and the Cardinals were surely paying close attention. Some guys had solid performances, and some had great performances. Here are five players from day two of the Combine that could be in Arizona in 2017, partly thanks to a strong workout.
