There are still some quality players available in free agency for the Arizona Cardinals

Free agency begins every year with fans, including those of the Arizona Cardinals, hoping to see their team sign big name players away from other teams in an attempt to make a Super Bowl run. Each year, a lot of people are disappointed.

This was a big year for the Cardinals in terms of free agency. After a disappointing 2016 season, the potential was there for a huge amount of roster turnover. After some good news, with Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald announcing their return, some fears ended up being founded.

In the early days of free agency, the defections began. Calais Campbell left for Jacksonville, Tony Jefferson signed in Baltimore, and valuable role players like DJ Swearinger and Darren Fells joined other teams as well.

On the other side of things, the Cardinals have made a few signings to try and replace lost players. Antoine Bethea was signed to help the safety position, while veteran kicker Phil Dawson also joined the team this off-season. Former Cardinal Karlos Dansby is returning as well.

There are still some of their own free agents that could return, but there are also still some good players out there that the Cardinals could add in the coming days. Here are five of the better options.
