The Arizona Cardinals will hold a three-day draft party this weekend at University of Phoenix Stadium

Nothing like a good ol’ party to watch your team make their draft selections.  The Arizona Cardinals will again host a draft party this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday on the Great Lawn at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

The fun gets underway on Thursday night from 4:30-9:00 p.m.  However the Cardinals will also be holding a “Cardinals Spring Tailgate and Draft Party” on the lawn Friday and Saturday as well.

Cardinals players, coaches, and cheerleaders will be on hand for the event Thursday as will DJ Christian Gama. There will be jumbo screens on hand tuned into the NFL Network to watch the Cardinals first-round selection.

On Friday night gates open at 4:00 p.m. and there will be a live band, ‘Instant Classics’, playing.  DJ Gamma is there once again as well.  The Cardinals will make their second and third round selections.

Saturday’s draft takes place in the morning into mid-afternoon.  The gates for the party however will open at 5:00 p.m.  The bands ‘Crown Kings’ and ‘Two-Way Crossing’ will be playing the event.

There will also be carnival rides for the families and a Kids Zone to enjoy.  The event culminates with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Keep in mind the event is treated like a Cardinals home game.  The clear bag policy will be in place. However, unlike Cardinals games, admission to the event is free all three nights.

The temperature is expected to be a little cooler than it was this past weekend, so you do have that going for you.  No rain is in the forecast either, so another plus.

There will be food an beverage options available for purchase.  Another plus?  Gourmet food trucks will be there.  That’s always a plus in my book!  Let’s hope the Cardinals bring home some exciting picks to talk about!
