The Arizona Cardinals open the 2017 regular season on Sunday September 10th

I think it is fair to say many of us would like to forget what happened in 2016 to the Arizona Cardinals.  With the release of the 2017 regular season schedule a couple of weeks ago, we can work towards just that.

Looking at the 2017 schedule on paper, it appears to be favorable towards more victories for the Cardinals.  That is just on paper though.

In reality beating anyone in the NFL, and yes that includes teams like the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, and Jacksonville Jaguars, takes a little more than just a nice smile.  The Cardinals will have to work much harder and smarter in 2017 to improve themselves from a 7-8-1 record.

Not only do they need to improve, the window is closing rapidly on guys like receiver Larry Fitzgerald and quarterback Carson Palmer to make it to the Super Bowl.  Not only make it there but also win.

Many thought it would happen in 2016.  However the Cardinals had a number of issues.  Many factors, such as poor play, injuries, and probably believing their own press clippings all played a part.

Now 2017 is here.  It looks relatively easier in the first half of the season but the latter half could be a challenge.  Here’s a look at the Cardinals schedule game by game.
