The Arizona Cardinals Ring of Honor has room for these five players who earned a spot there

Sometime during the 2017 season, the Arizona Cardinals will induct former quarterback Jim Hart into the team’s Ring of Honor. It’s the team’s way of remembering some of the greatest players and people to ever wear their uniform.

Hart will be the 17th person to receive the honor. His name will go alongside such luminaries as “Night Train” Lane, Kurt Warner, Aeneas Williams, and many others. He joins a legendary set of names.

The 17, counting Hart, names currently on the list aren’t the only deserving players, however. Though the Cardinals don’t have a history filled with wins and championships, they have had some tremendous talents to play there.

What follows is a list of five former Cardinals who made a tremendous impact on the franchise. They were great players, and they deserve to be honored by the team at some point in the future as well.
