Matthew Gay was born and raised in Tempe but currently resides in Georgia attending the local university as a communications major. Matthew became steeped in Arizona sports while he worked concessions for the Diamondbaks and Cardinals while in high school. He is the newest contributor for Raising Zona as of the summer of 2013 but aims to become a popular author and source for Arizona Cardinals fans as he brings logical and non-biased perspective to the readers while introducing new dimensions to topics and making bold predictions when possible. Matthew has an understanding of schemes used on the field and principals implemented in the front office to give the reader insight while reading his blog.
