No Quarterbacks Standing Out at Senior Bowl

So I’m in the middle of watching the Senior Bowl. Knowing the Arizona Cardinals greatest need is quarterback, I’m very interested in seeing how the quarterbacks playing are performing. As of right now, with about nine minutes left in the game, no one is standing out saying “pick me”. It also doesn’t include Matt Barkley or Geno Smith. Tyler Wilson, who many are looking at as a possibility for the Cardinals at number seven in the 2013 NFL Draft, is 8-11, but for only 39 yards. The Cards are looking for a down the field passer who will grab a lot of yardage. Those numbers remind me a lot of Matt Leinart.

With the rest of the entire NFL about to join the off-season the Arizona Cardinals have been enjoying for a month now after next weeks Super Bowl, the Cards are going to have to get serious about deciding what they are going to do with their future, more specifically their quarterback future.

Cards Make Roster Moves Ahead of Game Against Tampa

The O'Brien Schofield era has officially begun.  The linebacker, drafted in April by the Arizona Cardinals, has been nursing an injured knee since pre-Senior Bowl practice in January and was activated on Saturday in time for tomorrow's game against the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Linebacker Gerald Hayes was removed from the physically unable to perform list and is also expected to play on Sunday.  In order to activate both players, the Cards cut wide receiver Onrea Jones and linebacker Alex Hall.
Not a real surprise to see Jones or Hall go.  Jones was caught up in a numbers game with the reactivation of receivers Steve Breaston and Early Doucet.  Jones never really worked his way up the depth chart after training camp.
