Road games are always harder, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are never much of a threat.
Jacksonville’s defense and quarterback play was atrocious in 2012, and its quarterback situation didn’t improve (Chad Henne, who posted an atrocious 72.2 passer rating, is likely going to be the starter). There are question marks throughout the offense, and the Jaguars won’t be hard to stop on offense. The Jaguars still have Maurice Jones-Drew, but if the Cardinals can stop Johnson, they won’t have much of a problem with Jones-Drew.
Stepfan Taylor, Rashard Mendenhall, Andre Ellington and Arizona’s running backs should have no problem torching Jacksonville’s 30th-ranked rushing defense and 30th-ranked overall defense. Expect the Cardinals, who will be coming off of tough games against the Seahawks, Falcons and Texans, to be ready to play, and expect them to run away with an easy win here without any problem.
