“Rashard Mendenhall and Jasper Brinkley will make the biggest impacts. The Cardinals want to send a message to Daryl Washington, and I believe Brinkley and his spectacular run defense will enable the Cardinals to keep Washington off the field and not miss out on Washington’s production. Arizona’s running game is extremely young, and Mendenhall is an experienced back who accumulated more than 925 rushing yards in 2009, 2010 and 2011. With Mendenhall, Arizona can bring Stepfan Taylor and Andre Ellington along slowly, which will allow them to receive production in the running game in 2013 and in the future.

Arizona is paying $3.55 million for these two players in 2013, but the two will end up signing much larger deals at the end of their contracts. Both are underrated players who can definitely display their star potential in Arizona.”
