“I think Antoine Cason can become the starting cornerback across from Patrick Peterson. At 6’1″, Cason has similar size to Peterson and could match up well on the outside against bigger receivers. This would also allow Javier Arenas or Jerraud Powers to play in the slot. Cason struggled in 2012 with the San Diego Chargers, but in Arizona he won’t have to cover the other team’s top wide receiver. He will also reunite with Kevin Ross, who was a defensive back coach in San Diego from 2007-2009.”
