23. New Orleans Saints

2014 season record: 7-9

Top additions: C Max Unger, RB C.J. Spiller, CB Brandon Browner

Top departures: TE Jimmy Graham, WR Kenny Stills, RB Pierre Thomas

2015 projection: 8-8, 3rd NFC South, miss playoffs

I don’t know exactly what to think of the Saints?  I predict them to finish 8-8 and out of the playoffs but after a season where they finished 7-9, something I never saw coming, who knows?  Quarterback Drew Brees isn’t getting younger and he’s lost his top target in Jimmy Graham.

C.J. Spiller was added to be the guy in the backfield so I do see the Saints having a bit more balance on offense, especially as Brees gets on in years and can take some pressure off of him.  I will say this, I won’t be surprised if they finish 8-8 but they could also be 10-6 or 6-10.  Makes me feel like I did about the Cardinals a couple of years ago.
