The Arizona Cardinals return to Monday Night Football. Their last game on Monday Night Football was also against the AFC in last season’s opener against the San Diego Chargers. The Cardinals showed the nation they meant business from the start.
Granted this game is at the end of October but it is also the last game at home for the Cardinals in almost a month at this point. Their next game will be at home against the Cincinnati Bengals on November 22nd. The Cardinals need to show everyone exactly what they are all about. Unless people have Direct TV or go to bars on Sunday afternoons, most of the east coast probably will not have seen the Cardinals play yet. Last year’s Monday Night Football game was the second half of a doubleheader. A lot of east coasters were asleep.
The Ravens will be in contention again this season so there will be a lot of eyes on this matchup. This is also the Ravens first game played at University of Phoenix Stadium.
