One of the best quarterbacks through the first half of the season, Carson Palmer is a no brainer to be voted to the Pro Bowl. Through 8 games this season Palmer has lead the Arizona Cardinals to a 6-2 record and first place in the NFC West. Palmer is also second in the league for touchdown passes at 20, and is on pace to throw 40 total come playoff time. In addition to leading this team to places it has never gone before, Palmer also needs to be credited for turning the Cardinals receiving corp into one of the best in the league.

Chris Johnson, Running Back

No one in their right back in August would believe you if you told them that Chris Johnson would be a top 5 running back. Well, Johnson has gone out and done exactly that. Johnson is third in the league in terms of rushing yards at 676, and is currently on pace for 1352 yards. Per his contract conditions, Johnson is eligible for a significant bonus if he reaches the 1300 yard milestone and makes the Pro Bowl. With both of these milestones well within reach, look for Johnson to increase his hustle 10 fold during the second half of the season.
