13. Carson Palmer 48-yard pass to John Brown vs. San Francisco 49ers

The Cardinals offense struggled to make anything happen at all on this day.  They struggled to beat the San Francisco 49ers 19-13 but one player who came up golden on this day was receiver John Brown.

In a game where he ended up with 99 yards on five receptions, one of those was a spectacular 48-yard catch.  It was the catalyst for the Cardinals first touchdown of the season.  The reception was part of a 15-play drive that ended up with a David Johnson one-yard touchdown run.

Brown was a bright spot in an otherwise off day for the Cardinals offense.  Then again the 49ers defense should be given credit as they played a good game on this day in Santa Clara.  That’s what made the 48-yard reception so great.  The Cardinals, even in times of struggle, always seemed to come up with the big play when it was needed the most in 2015.
