7. team. 36. The Seahawks either destroyed the Arizona Cardinals or took advantage of a team that didn’t really want to play because there was nothing to play for. Either way, Seattle fans are living large this week but they face a tough match-up (with the weather) in Minnesota this weekend.. (10-6). Previous: 8th. Seattle Seahawks

55. The Steelers owe a lot to the choke-job the Jets pulled on Sunday, but by their own virtues, they took care of business and that’s why they are here. Having to face Cincinnati is second nature to them, but if the Bengals get Andy Dalton back, this could be a very close, divisional game.. (10-6). Previous: 5th. Pittsburgh Steelers. 6. team

124. The Chiefs rattled off an amazing winning streak to finish the season and nearly took the division away from the Broncos. Andy Reid has to be in serious competition for the Coach of the Year, but this team will need to keep that magic going to go far with three away games between them and Santa Clara.. (11-5). Previous: 4th. Kansas City Chiefs. 5. team

87. The Panthers did what they had to do to finish the season with the best record in the league. They now have home field advantage and an MVP winner (presumably) in Cam Newton, but can he make it past the divisional round this year?. (15-1). Previous: 2nd. Carolina Panthers. 4. team

New England Patriots. 3. team. 47. The Patriots started to crumble under the weight of just not having anyone on the roster who was healthy towards the end of the season. The loss to the Dolphins was a punch in the gut, but a bye week will certainly help heal some wounds.. (12-4). Previous: 3rd

2. team. 45. The Broncos could have finished as a 1 seed or a 5 seed and everything in-between but ended up needing the help from some old cowboy on the roster to propel them to home field advantage throughout the playoffs.. (12-4). Previous: 7th. Denver Broncos

Arizona Cardinals. 1. team. 32. The Cardinals either didn’t want to play, were told not to play, or just didn’t care, but the team gave up Week 17 and it has to be a fluke. With a bye week, the second seed locked up two weeks ago, the team will await their next opponent and practice for all three. As a bonus, they’ll avoid Seattle until the NFC Championship game, should both teams win out.. (13-3). Previous: 1st
