19. How cool would it have been to see Rodgers in overtime?

From my standpoint as a Cardinals fan, not at all.  From my standpoint as an NFL fan, very cool.  He was on a roll.  I don’t think though we’d see another Hail Mary unless the Cardinals had kicked a FG and it was 4th and 20 again from their own five yardline. However, it didn’t happen, so no need for me to fantasize about it.  My fantasy is coming true.

20. Why can’t I shake this feeling that by watching the NFL, I’m supporting a fundamentally corrupt enterprise that swindles municipalities, bungles internal discipline, makes its work force inherently vulnerable to brain trauma, peddles false patriotism and treats domestic violence as an offense on par with taking air out of a ball?

You went and saw the movie Concussion, didn’t you?  Yeah so did I.  I hated the NFL and football for about 15 minutes afterwards.  I’m over it.

21. What time does the first game kickoff Sunday?

Since this was written before yesterday’s games this question was directed at those games.  However the first game next Sunday is at 1:00 p.m. Arizona time.  The New England Patriots visit the Denver Broncos.  It is Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning 34 or something like that.  Yay.  What time does the Cardinals game start?  Oh yes, 4:40 p.m..  Can’t wait for 4:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
