Lyle Sendlein, C

Sendlein was all of a sudden a man with no team after the 2014 season.  The Cardinals cut him and were having Larsen and A.Q. Shipley compete for the starting center position.  Neither one of them though could take advantage of the situation in camp.

It didn’t take long into training camp before the Cardinals went and called on Sendlein to return to the Cardinals.  He signed a one-year deal.  I didn’t see enough out of Shipley to take over the starting spot.  I like a guy at center that has familiarity with his quarterback.  He’s been Carson Palmer’s center for three seasons now.  I doubt the Cardinals can find much better out there, at least until Palmer retires in a couple of years.

Decision: Keep him

Next: Nice guy but...
