The most experienced player of five from the Longhorns is defensive tackle Cory Redding, who just completed his 13th NFL season.  Right behind him is center Lyle Sendlein who just completed his ninth season in the NFL. Both are likely to return to the Cardinals in 2016.

Linebacker Alex Okafor has the potential to be a great one.  He just finished his third season but it ended on a sour note.  He injured his foot in between the end of the season and the Cardnials divisional playoff game.  He was lost for the season.  The injury was termed as “non-football” and rumor has it that has landed him in hot water with the Cardinals.

The Cardinals also have receiver Jaxon Shipley, who in training camp last year played himself onto the practice squad for the 2015 season.  I would not be surprised to see him on an active roster soon.  The Cardinals also just recently added cornerback Carrington Byndom to the roster after the season ended.
