Eric Berry, CB, Kansas City Chiefs

The 2015 Comeback Player of the Year is coming back to the Chiefs most likely.  I never really saw another team as a major suitor for Berry’s services in 2016.

Berry, who came back from cancer in late 2014, had 61 tackles and two interceptions for the Chiefs in 2016.  Again, Berry is a young cornerback who will be making plays for years to come.  Kansas City was smart to keep him.  As with Johnson, I do not see the Chiefs allowing Berry to be outdone contract-wise by another team.

The Cardinals will need to look elsewhere for corner help in 2016 but there are other options on the market that won’t cost as much.  That seems to be a recurring theme when dealing with players who have been tagged.
