Carrington Byndom, CB

Byndom spent time in 2015 with both the Carolina Panthers and the Cardinals on practice squads. He started the season with the Panthers going off and on the squad a couple of times. He was signed to the Cardinals practice squad in October, so he is familiar with the system here.

Byndom was an All-Big 12 selection twice during his time at Texas. He had 29 career pass breakups. He gravitates to the ball. One area he has an advantage over Brooks on is his height. He is a couple of inches taller than Brooks at 6-0.

Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians indicated at the end of the season that he wanted to get taller in the secondary. If he sticks with that, Byndom could be the guy making the final 53 and not Brooks.
