Carson Palmer, Quarterback

NFC Championship game aside, Carson Palmer had the best season for a quarterback in Arizona Cardinals franchise history. In 2015 Palmer threw for 4671 yards (career high), 35 touchdowns (career high) and 11 interceptions.

After missing out a majority of the 2014 season with an ACL tear, Palmer had a career year upon his return. He led the league in total QBR (82.1) and helped the Cardinals win a franchise record 13 games. An MVP worthy season fell short as he finished tied for second along with Tom Brady, losing to Cam Newton.

To reward him for his success, Palmer was named FedEx Air Player of the Year, a Second team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler. Palmer should be expected to make his first appearance on the NFL’s Top 100 list with the spectacular season that he had.
