1. Justin Bethel

Bethel is the presumed starter opposite Peterson but things can change.  Bethel continued to shine on special teams but struggled down the stretch last season, especially in the playoffs.

He started five games last season at corner, the first time in his first four seasons he had done so. He also had his first two career interceptions last season.  The Cardinals hope he can build on that going into the 2016 season.

Don’t be shocked though that if Bethel struggles, the Cardinals may allow the number two guy on the depth chart, Tyvon Branch, to be given some starts instead.

2. Tyvon Branch

Speaking of Branch, he comes to the Cardinals as a free-agent from the Kansas City Chiefs. Branch is entering his ninth season out of Connecticut.

Branch played in 16 games last season and started just one.  He had one interception.  As I mentioned though, the Cardinals didn’t make Branch their first free agent signing for nothing. Make no bones about it, Branch will be coming into camp to compete for that starting corner job opposite Peterson.
