1. Chandler Jones

Jones is the pass rusher the Cardinals desperately needed.  Jones, with the New England Patriots in 2015, had 12.5 sacks last season.  The Cardinals leader last year, Dwight Freeney, had eight.

When the Cardinals made the move to trade for Jones back in March the excitement was back in the air for fans of Cardinals defense.

Jones can play on the line as well but fits more in the scheme in Arizona as a linebacker.  Don’t let that fool you though.  He will be after quarterbacks every Sunday this fall.

2. Kareem Martin

Now entering his third season in the NFL, Martin looks to get some more playing time.  That might be hard to do with Jones on the field a lot.

Martin played in all 16 games last season but spent most of that time as a backup, starting only two games.  He ended up with 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble last season in his limited time.  The addition of Jones can do nothing but push Martin to excel even further this season.
