2. Mike Jenkins

Jenkins was just added to the Cardinals roster last week.  With the departure of Jerraud Powers and now the uncertainty of Chris Clemons status with his off the field issues, the signing of Jenkis becomes even that more important.

The Cardinals did get Branch as well as started earlier, however Jenkins has more experience.  The Cardinals are his fourth stop in the NFL.

Jenkins should push for a starting spot despite just getting here.  The Cardinals are reportedly still looking to add at the position so the competition will likely grow.

Jenkins hasn’t registered an interception since he was with the Oakland Raiders in 2013.  A huge reason for that though is the fact he missed most of the 2014 campaign.

Jenkins doesn’t really fit what the Cardinals said they were looking for after the 2015 season ended in Charlotte.  They wanted to get taller and younger in the secondary.  Jenkins at 5-10 and 31 years old is neither.  He does bring the experience though and that will help.
