1. Chandler Jones

When the Cardinals traded for Jones in the middle of March right at that point it was known he was going to be the best addition to the roster in the offseason. The Cardinals pass rush had new life.

The Cardinals virtually gave up nothing to the Patriots for Jones.  The Cardinals said one of their top offseason priorities was to improve the pass rush.  Many thought that meant the draft.  Jones was never on the radar.

Then it happened.  March 16th Jones was acquired and the pass rush of the Cardinals became legitimate.  Jones had 12.5 sacks last season.  Last year’s leader on the Cardinals roster was Dwight Freeney with eight.

Jones is listed as linebacker but can also line up on the defensive line as an end as well.  The Cardinals will likely have to pay him big time if they want to keep him after the 2016 season.  If he is the catalyst to helping the Cardinals take that next step, that should become a no-brainer.
