Jaron Brown

When training camp started Jaron Brown was almost the forgotten man at receiver.  He’s been on the cusp the past couple of years looking like he might breakout.  However after a season of little production, it looked like Brown could be the odd man out when the final 53-man roster is announced the first week of September.

Brown had just 11 receptions last season as guys like John Brown and J.J. Nelson taking over the third and fourth receiver spots though, there wasn’t much for Jaron Brown there.

Last season he only had one game really where people remember his contributions.  He made a great catch in the Sunday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks but that was about it.

On Saturday in the annual Red-White Scrimmage game though Brown reminded Cardinals fans he is still here and he plans on fighting for one of those last receiver slots. The Cardinals haven’t said how many receivers they plan on keeping, however Brown has to figure to be the number five guy right now.
