Cardinals tight ends will play big

The Cardinals didn’t exactly set the world on fire last season with their tight ends.  Jermaine Gresham was a disappointment.  Darren Fells had his moments but still only had 21 receptions for 311 yards last season.  Troy Niklas scored his first career touchdowns.

Look for all tight ends to make an impact on Sunday night.  Fells is the number one tight end and I expect at least one big play for him.  Palmer does like hitting his tight ends as much as his receivers.

Gresham is going to be active, as will Niklas.  In fact, don’t rule out either one of them getting a score as well.  By the end of the evening, all three should have at least one or two receptions each. The Cardinals will prove to fans and other teams they have a very good tight end core and they shouldn’t be overlooked this season.
