18. Detroit Lions (4-4)

The Lions are in the thick of things in the NFC North.  They didn’t do themselves any favors however in last Sunday’s loss to a subpar Texans team 20-13 in Houston.

The Lions have experienced some injuries but quarterback Matthew Stafford has remained healthy.  Outside of the loss to the Texans, they’ve lost to the Titans, Packers, and Bears.

The next three weeks may clear a lot up for the .500 Lions.  They looked good against the Philadelphia Eagles a few weeks ago.  That was their arguably their best win in 2016.  But now they get to face the Vikings two of their next three games.

They travel to Minnesota this week, then have a bye week before hosting Jacksonville and then Minnesota on Thanksgiving day.  They need to hope for a split at worst with the Vikings to remain in the division hunt.  Three of their last five games will be on the road.
