3. Patrick Peterson interception at Buffalo Bills

The only non-scoring play to make the list, Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson may have had one of the more amazing defensive plays we’ve seen made in a Cardinals uniform, at least while the franchise has been in Arizona.

In Buffalo in a game that was still close at the time, Peterson made a beautiful one-handed interception over his shoulder running away from the play while running out of bounds.  It was arguably the best interception Peterson has hauled in.

The ball appeared to be going out of bounds.  At the very least it was sure to be caught out of bounds.  Somehow Peterson though was able to keep his feet inbounds for the takeaway.

Unfortunately it was only one of a handful of plays the Cardinals made in the blowout loss in Buffalo that September afternoon.  Peterson ended the 2016 season with three interceptions and six passes defensed.
