Larry Fitzgerald

How this man comes in at number 89 this season is beyond me.  This is the only inclusion on the list from a Cardinals standpoint where I would have argued for a higher spot on the list.

Fitz, who just last week announced he was returning for a 14th season in 2017, lead the NFL in receptions with 107.  He had 1,023-yards receiving along with six touchdowns.

He gets a knock because of his quarterback Carson Palmer and because he is considered a possession receiver.  I’d say because of the early team struggles for him to finish with the numbers he had is amazing.

Fitz fought through injury and never gave less than 100 percent.  He was selected to the Pro Bowl but did not play.  His replacement? That would be Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin.  He made this list as well at number 63.

Just by looking at that fact you know Pro Football Focus looks at things differently.  They like most of the players we see as stars.  They just value them differently than us.

By finishing though in the top 101 in his 13th NFL season just goes to show his star.  To be able to still do the things he did very early in his career at a high level is a feat in itself.
