Kareem Martin

Martin, drafted in 2014 out of the University of North Carolina, is in somewhat of the same predicament as Fua is.  He’s a linebacker that could be expendable if they find the proper replacement in August.

In his three seasons in Arizona, Martin has only started two games.  He has made 27 tackles in his three seasons.

He is certainly a good player to have on the bench ready to come in but after three seasons, more should have been expected from him.  He played in just 13 games in 2016 due to a late preseason injury suffered that kept him out of play for the first three weeks of the season.

His chances of breaking camp on the 53-man roster seem better than Fua’s, however free agency and the draft may seal his fate before camp has even begun.  He will be one to watch this spring and summer.
