Marlon Mack had a strong workout today, and would be a nice fit in Arizona

The Arizona Cardinals have one of the league’s best running backs in David Johnson. He’s fresh off a season where he led the league in touchdowns and yards from scrimmage, and there’s no reason he won’t be great again in 2017. However, they need more bodies at the position.

Marlon Mack isn’t often mentioned as one of the top running back prospects, but he is liked by most analysts. His quickness allows him to make a lot of big plays, and his good footwork means he can avoid a lot of tackles. He’s a good receiver, and would be a really nice fit as a change of pace back in the desert.

Mack put his skills on display at the Combine. First, he measured out well, at 5’11” and 213 pounds, and he posted a 4.50 40-time, a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap, and a 10’5″ broad jump. He also excelled in the on-field stuff, showing off his versatility.
