Karlos Dansby

The third time is the charm they say, right?  Dansby makes his way back to Arizona for the third time of his career.  Arizona originally drafted Dansby in 2004 and he returned in 2103 before leaving for the Cleveland Browns.  He was with the Cincinnati Bengals last season.

Dansby comes in and replaces a likely-departing Kevin Minter.  Dansby had a monster season with the Cardinals three years ago in his second stint with the team.

In 2013, Dansby had 19 passes defensed, four interceptions and two touchdowns.  It makde you wonder how the Cardinals let him go after a season like that?  Again, it came down to money.

Dansby came into the NFL with the Cardinals with Larry Fitzgerald.  He is nearing the end of his career.  What a great story it would be if he and Fitz could go out with a Super Bowl Championship in 2017.

While I wouldn’t look for 2013 numbers I would look for solid contributions from Dansby in 2016. This was a very good pickup for the Cardinals.
