4. Dak Prescott

The Cardinals haven’t seen the young gunslinger yet.  Prescott, drafted in 2016, was in the running for the rookie of the year.  He surprised a lot of media and fans.

Prescott is now the main man with the Dallas Cowboys.  There was still some uncertainty as to whether Tony Romo would be brought back in 2017 as a starter.

Romo tried his best to put that to rest in 2016 but some were still skeptical.  Romo retired on Tuesday and is joining the CBS broadcast booth.

Prescott threw 23 touchdowns against just four interceptions last season.  He broke the record for most pass attempts without throwing an interception to start a career.

The Cardinals may actually get to see him twice.  They play the Cowboys in the preseason as well but it is highly doubtful they will see much, if any, of him then.  The game is in Arizona, so get ready Cardinals fans.
