3. The 2015 Cardinals won more than any of it’s predecessors

The last ten years have been more kind to the Cardinals than most eras the team has seen. The 2015 regular season was one of the best in franchise history. For the first time since 2009, they won the division, and they set a franchise record with 13 wins. It was a year that left fans wanting more, but looking forward to the future.

The 2015 Cardinals had it all. Led by quarterback Carson Palmer, the finished second in the NFL in scoring and led the league in yards. On defense, they were nearly just as good, ending up seventh in points allowed and fifth in yards allowed. Pro Bowlers abounded on the team as well, including Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald on offense, and Patrick Peterson on defense.

In the playoffs, the Cardinals made a run to the conference championship game, but lost to the Carolina Panthers. It was a disappointing end to a fantastic year, but there was still plenty to be happy about. They dominated the regular season, and were as entertaining a team as the league has ever seen.
