November 22, 2015 vs Cincinnati Bengals

The game had been moved to Sunday Night Football.  It was the matchup of two division leaders. The Bengals were coming in with an 8-1 record and their first loss of the season the week before.

The Cardinals were coming in at 7-2 after an exciting divisional game at the Seattle Seahawks the week prior.  We had all the reason in the world to believe a great game was about to bust out.

If we went just by the first half alone that Sunday evening, this game would be nowhere near this list.  The Cardinals were down 14-7 at halftime.

The third quarter started off fast however.  Just about three and a half minutes into the second-half, the Cardinals scored on an electrifying 64-yard pass from quarterback Carson Palmer to receiver J.J. Nelson.

That play set the stage for two more third-quarter scores from Palmer to his receivers.  In all, the Cardinals outscored the Bengals 21-0 in that quarter, giving them a 28-14 lead heading into the fourth.

The lead didn’t last long. The Bengals clawed their way back in to tie the game with 1:03 remaining at 31-31. That left just enough time for the Cardinals to put kicker Chandler Catanzaro into position to kick a field goal with 0:02 remaining to win 34-31.
