Haason Reddick has the kind of athleticism that make him a potential star

Much as been made of linebacker Reuben Foster and the talent he possesses, which is seemingly limitless. However, Haason Reddick is right there with him in terms of talent, and comes without the initial questions that Foster brings.

Reddick didn’t enter the offseason with the fanfare that some of the other linebackers did. Once I got around to his tape, I was hooked. He’s fast, his instincts are terrific, and he plays as hard as can be asked of him. An edge rusher at Temple, he’ll be moving in the NFL, but he has all the tools to be great.

Changing positions can be a concern, so that’s something teams will consider. His size could also worry some teams, as they’ll have to be sure he can meet a big back head on, and bring him down.

Reddick has been in my top 10 overall players for a while, so the Cardinals would get value by taking him 13th overall. More importantly, they get faster and more talented on defense. Kevin Minter is gone, and Karlos Dansby isn’t a long-term solution. Adding Reddick would be a nice move.
