Week 9 – Sunday November 5th

@ San Francisco 49ers

Coming after their bye in week 8, which followed a trip overseas to London, the Cardinals are back on the road in California.  They play their second game of the season against the 49ers.

Last season the Cardinals went up to San Francisco on Thursday Night Football and had to win with backup quarterback Drew Stanton.  The final score was 33-21.

Hopefully Palmer is healthy this season and it won’t have to come down to that.  The 49ers though always play the Cardinals tough at home regardless of record.

Two years ago the Cardinals escaped Santa Ana with a 19-13 victory and that was with Palmer, who struggled a bit that afternoon. This game should end up being closer than the previous one in Glendale in October.

By now the 49ers should have a good idea of who they are and what they are about.  Whoever they have at quarterback this day may be finally settling in.  It still may not be enough in the end.
