The Cardinals face another AFC South team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, in week twelve

Few teams in the NFL have been as inept over the past several years as the Jacksonville Jaguars. Since going 8-8 in 2010, they haven’t won more than five games in a single season, and have been unable to take a step forward.

There was plenty of optimism after the 2015 season. Blake Bortles had a huge season, as did Allen Robinson. Many picked them to make a huge leap in 2016. Instead, Bortles regressed, and the team went 3-13.

The Jaguars were 20th or worse in both passing and rushing offense last season. Defensively, they were solid, but if they can’t get Bortles on track, it won’t matter. The Cardinals and Jags haven’t met recently, but Arizona has won the last two matchups.

David Johnson should take advantage of the Jaguars run defense, and the Cardinals defense should have plenty of opportunities to make plays. Arizona 31 – Jacksonville 21
